Founding Eternal Members

Informational Overview — This is a Future Feature and Is Not Currently Available

A quiet form of recognition for those whose early trust helps bring T.A.E.I.L. into being — and, over time, for the small number of additional Eternal Members the community welcomes when the mission calls for it.

A future recognition feature

Eternal Members is a planned future feature for taeilcommunity.org. It is being designed as a way to recognise members who choose Eternal Membership — a fixed-price purchase of a defined future membership entitlement, never a gift, donation, or investment. No Founding Eternal Membership has been sold. No real names appear on this page until the campaign, incorporation, and independent counsel review are complete, and a member has given explicit written consent to be shown.

What is honoured here is a decision — the decision to purchase early, before there was any proof T.A.E.I.L. would succeed — not a sum of money given as charity.

Founding Eternal Members — three reserved places

Exactly three Founding Eternal places are planned, permanently capped and available only during the campaign era. This cap does not carry forward: purchasing an Eternal Membership after public launch, even at the corresponding price, does not confer Founding Eternal recognition.

The three-place cap is permanent and applies only to the campaign era. Founding Eternal recognition cannot be purchased or granted after public launch.

Eternal Members — offered on a limited basis after launch

Beyond the three Founding Eternal places, T.A.E.I.L. plans to offer a small, limited number of additional Eternal Memberships from time to time after public launch — not as an always-open tier, but at specific moments when the community needs to raise additional funds to expand or improve the services it offers, or to help keep regular membership affordable for everyone else. Each of these limited offerings will be announced with its own defined number of places and its own purpose.

Members who join in this way are recognised chronologically, in the order they join, alongside — but visually and textually distinct from — the three Founding Eternal places. They carry no Founding badge and no fixed position.

No post-launch Eternal Membership offering is open yet. This section will describe each limited offering, and list members who have joined through one, once T.A.E.I.L. is ready to announce it.

What members control

Every detail shown about an Eternal Member — chosen display name, badge visibility, cohort marker, short statement, and photo or emblem — is planned as opt-in and member-controlled, defaulting to hidden. A member may hold Eternal or Founding Eternal recognition without any of it being shown publicly. Legal name, contact information, location, payment amount, financial detail, family information, and health or grief-related content are never planned to appear here.

What this page is not

• It is not a live leaderboard, ranking, or comparison of members.
• It is not a record of gifts or donations — every tier is a fixed-price purchase of a defined future entitlement.
• It does not name, picture, or describe any real person without their confirmed, explicit written consent.
• It is not connected to T.A.E.I.L.’s services on taeil.life for honouring someone who has died — Eternal Members honours a contributor’s choice to join, never a death.

What is not available yet

T.A.E.I.L. is currently in a pre-incorporation, pre-launch build phase. To avoid any confusion, none of the following exist today:

• No live Founding Eternal slot has been claimed or sold
• No post-launch Eternal Membership offering is currently open
• No submission form, profile editor, or badge-visibility toggle of any kind
• No account, login, or storage system tied to Eternal Members
• No real member names, photos, or statements anywhere on this page

These systems will remain inactive until full Canadian federal non-profit incorporation, independent safeguarding review, privacy impact assessment, and technical security testing are complete.
