Community Resources

Informational Overview — This is a Future Feature and Is Not Currently Available

A future publicly readable library of carefully selected, plain-language starting points for reflection, grief, remembrance, practical preparation, mutual care, culture, traditions, and accessibility.

Finding a useful starting point

Community Resources is a future publicly readable resource library planned for taeilcommunity.org, intended to be available without needing an account. Its aim is to give people a useful starting point when they are looking for plain-language information related to grief, remembrance, practical preparation, mutual care, culture, and accessibility.

Areas we are preparing

We are preparing carefully selected, plain-language starting points across several areas, including:

  • Reflection and grief literacy — general information to help people understand common experiences of loss and grief.
  • Remembrance — plain-language context on ways different cultures and traditions remember those who have died.
  • Practical preparation — general starting points for the kinds of practical questions people face before and after a death.
  • Mutual care — general information on supporting someone who is grieving or unwell.
  • Culture and traditions — general context connecting to our Beliefs & Traditions library.
  • Accessibility — general starting points on accessible tools and approaches for people with different needs.

Urgent help and immediate support

Need urgent help? Community Resources is a general information library, not an emergency or crisis service.

If you are in immediate danger, having suicidal thoughts, or unable to stay safe, use local emergency or crisis services now. International, confidential crisis resources can be found at findahelpline.com or on our Crisis Signposting Page.

What Community Resources is not

  • It is not a crisis, emergency, clinical, legal, medical, or financial service.
  • It is not a therapeutic service or a substitute for professional advice.
  • It is not yet a complete or continuously maintained directory.

What is not available yet

T.A.E.I.L. is currently in a pre-incorporation, pre-launch build phase. None of the following exist today:

  • No search bar, filter tool, or category browser
  • No map, location detector, or country selector
  • No provider directory, ratings, reviews, or recommendation engine
  • No user-submission form for adding a resource
  • No live chat, AI adviser, or chatbot interface

This library will remain a planning concept until a named editorial owner, review cadence, and the relevant safeguarding, privacy, legal, and technical review are in place.
